Kapoor & Sons is one of those films that everyone was waiting for and even the music has been topping the charts. So lets move onto the review shall we?
Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah play their characters well as an ‘almost’ estranged couple. Their relationship is complicated and you get used to it watching that in the end. The couple portray love, nostalgia and resentment in a marriage, so that you feel empathetic towards them! Alia Bhatt does her dream girl attitude (as usual) and Sidharth Malhotra is okay, but Fawad Khan has stole many hearts, even saying ‘it is a Fawad film’ – most people are gonna love this!
It’s pretty straight forward. It is the age-old story of a family that is obsessed with keeping up with public appearances (slightly like Dil Dhadakne Do) but not completely. You feel like you’ve experienced the journey with the characters in the end with the Kapoors.
Go watch the film and let me know what YOU thought!
