Toxic: KGF fame Yash starrer upcoming film is the biggest talk of the town. Right from the announcement of the film, it has been in the news for various reasons. The fact that Yash is making a comeback to the silver screen after almost 3 years has left fans beaming with joy. Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan was one of the first names from Bollywood who was approached by the makers of Toxic. Unfortunately, the actress opted out of the film recently. It was stated that she backed out of the film due to date issues. Now, as per recent reports, it is rumoured that Kareena was very much keen to be a part of the film; however, she opted out because of Kiara Advani and Shruti Haasan’s presence.
Toxic: Did Kareena Kapoor Khan opt out of the film due to Kiara Advani, Shruti Haasan?
As per a recent report in Times Now, Kareena Kapoor Khan didn’t have any date issues. The makers of Toxic had approached her well in advance, and hence issues with dates can never be a reason, also because apart from Singham Again, she isn’t working on any film or project currently. It is speculated that Kareena was skeptical about the length of her role. The fact that after approaching Kareena Kapoor Khan, makers also roped in Kiara Advani and Shruti Haasan made Kareena wonder if she would be given a substantial role, and hence she decided to back out of the film.
In the same report, it was stated that before Kareena Kapoor Khan, makers approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the same role; however, things never worked out between them. Now that Kareena has backed out of the role, it would be interesting to see which actress will be roped in to fill her replacement. Apart from Kareena, Shruti, and Kiara, the makers of Toxic have also approached Shah Rukh Khan for a pivotal role, but whether he will feature in the film or not is something which is not yet known.
